Minimum Booking and Payment Terms

Accepted Answer

Minimum booking spend for travel is $450 before travel fee, otherwise appointment will
be held in Maria’s home studio in Southbank. Payment is due in full two weeks before the service unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.
Accepted forms of payment include cash and electronic transfers. A non-refundable deposit of $200 must be paid to secure the date.

Cancellation Policy

Booking cancellation and/or reduction in number of service with less than 4 weeks notice (30 days) will require full payment of the service, which will be invoiced via email. 
Under NO circumstances will the deposit be refunded. If a client fails to show up for a scheduled appointment without prior notice, the full service fee will be charged.

Rescheduling

Accepted Answer

Rescheduling requests for Bridal Bookings must be made at least 4 weeks (30 Days) in advance. A rescheduling fee of $200 may apply if the request is made less than the above timing before the appointment.

Service Guarantee

Accepted Answer

Maria will make every effort to ensure client satisfaction. However, once the service is completed, any complaints or requests for adjustments should be made within 1 hour of the service. No refunds will be provided after the service has been completed, but adjustments may be made at the discretion of the makeup artist.

Question 5

Liability

Accepted Answer

Maria is not liable for any allergic reactions or adverse effects resulting from the products used. Clients are encouraged to inform the makeup artist of any known allergies or skin sensitivities prior to the service.

Question 6

Venue and Timing

Accepted Answer

Maria will arrive at the agreed-upon location and time. Clients are responsible for ensuring a suitable environment for the service. Any additional travel costs and parking incurred due to changes in the location or time will be added to the final invoice.

Question 7

Intellectual Property

Accepted Answer

Maria retains the right to use any images of the makeup and/or hair for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon. Clients have the right to request that their images not be used in promotional materials.

Question 8

Governing Law

Accepted Answer

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Victoria.

By proceeding with the service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms of service.
